Oral Histories Project
To celebrate Heritage Day in Saskatchewan, the Sask. History & Folklore Society has made several interviews from its Oral History collection, available to the public. Our Oral History collection was originally part of a multicultural project the Society undertook in the late 1980s.
Each interview contains information about the interviewee's personal history. Specifically, each interviewee was asked to explain his or her cultural background in terms of holiday celebrations, ethnic foods and lifestyle.
Each interview is accompanied by a summary of the interview and contains media player counter readings. This is to faciliate quick searching for topics listed in the summary.
The Sask. History & Folklore Society, Inc. is the copyright holder of all audio, electronic and print media associated with these interviews. If you wish to incorporate material from these interviews, please contact the SHFS office first (780-9204 or 1-800-919-9437) for permission.
